I’m just putting the last bits in my giant suitcase as I get ready to fly to Denver. 33 Beers has a booth, and if you’re going to the show yourself, you should definitely come by. Heck, I’ll even give you this here coupon for a special, GABF-only buy one, get one deal.

I was just settling in to write a sentimental post somewhere along the lines of “this is a homecoming because it was at GABF in 2009 where I came up with this crazy idea.”

And then I remembered I already wrote that blog post. Last year.

See you there? We’ll be in booth no. 20 with all SIX “33″ books – beer, wine, coffee, cheese, cigars and now – 33 Whiskeys!

Thanks to that, I’ve developed an almost Pavlovian reaction to seeing the signature Leinenkugel script – instant headache. So it was with some surprise that I discovered this craft-y looking thing on the shelves of the Ale Jail in St. Paul while back in the midwest for a visit. Could a swill regional brewery make something artisinal and tasty? Undoubtedly, yes. And I only got a little headache.
