I meant to take a photo of this beer, but I had my hands full with a squirmy little boy who was past his bedtime at a busy restaurant, Screen Door in Portland. This was a good food beer, particularly with the jambalaya I ordered, but I wouldn’t order one again, other than to give this a second chance – I wonder if the keg was on its last legs. It just didn’t have the crispness or hops I expect in a pale ale. Other than color, I would have guessed it as an amber or Scotch Ale with its malty sweetness.
