Someone on Twitter was asking for Easter beer recommendations. At our Easter celebrations, dinner has always meant one thing: ham. Thinking on the topic, I went immediately to Saison Dupont. I think a sweet, smoky beer could pair well with sweet, smoky ham, but I prefer my beers contrast one another, rather than involve too many of the same flavors. I felt the clean, crisp citrus of the Saison would cut through some of ham’s heaviness. And I was right.
