Showed up a few minutes late to the Horse Brass for darts, so I got to enjoy one of my favorite dishes (a gravy-covered Bridie with house-made chips) in relative peace while I sipped this beer. Normally I have to start throwing right away, and try to sneak in bites between turns. I much preferred this arrangement … I may have to show up late more frequently. This was a good food beer, but there was an odd flavor that I couldn’t put my finger on, and which kept me from re-ordering it the next turn.
