Enjoyed this hoppy delight with some friends at (New Old) Lompoc’s North Williams “Sidebar.” I’d never been, due to the odd hours (only open Friday and Saturday evenings until 10 PM), but it’s a treasure of a place. It’s a storeroom for their barreled beers, but it’s also a cozy little bar with some of their most interesting beers on tap. The food menu is limited, but you can order at the 5th Quadrant around the corner, and they’ll deliver it to you in the Sidebar. While we were there, some people came in from the Brewery Bus, and as they were on stop 10 of 10, they were pretty entertaining, but the single bartender handled the entire room with ease and had a good attitude the whole time. I will definitely return.
