Wow, it wasn’t until I typed the date in below that I realized I had a beer called Nostradamus on the 9th anniversary of September 11th. What does that mean?!?!?
I won’t go into a memorial post (it seems inappropriate for a beer blog somehow), but will just go ahead and dispel the myth that the fabled Frenchman had anything even remotely resembling a prediction about those sad events.
I will confirm the rumor that this is a very delicious beer, though.

And yes, I know the photo says 9-10. I forgot to account for the fact that I didn’t use the book on the prior day. I used the wholesale sheet. I am a frequent mis-dater, despite the fact that my watch has the date on it.

What’s a watch?
Where did you get the Nostradamus?

I think I picked it up at Whole Foods in Hollywood. I’m sure Belmont Station has it, too.

I went to Henry’s (Pearl District) for lunch and they had Nostradamus on tap, but they were all out. Such a disappoint.

I totally wear my watch for looks… I check my phone if I want to know the date!

What beer will you drink on 12/21/12? An also-important question: will you drink anything the next day?

Well, the project should be wrapped up by then, but I’m guessing I’ll still be drinking beer. The official last day is September 26, 2012. I might take a few days off afterward, though. There have only been a few days this far into the project that I wished I could take a day off, and most were beer’s fault (aka hangover).
