I’ve had this beer twice on tap (once at the brewery in Springfield, and last week at OBF), and enjoyed the hell out of it both times. I think it’s a bit better on draft, but the bottled version is only slightly less delicious. Alphadelic is a big, bold IPA that demands your full attention with huge bitterness and aroma. It’s a big job to finish a whole bottle on your own, but a good ride all the way to the bottom. It feels like a more alcoholic beer than the 6.5% the bottle displays, but that’s because of the big hops, I believe. I’m used to that kind of flavor coming from bigger beers.
