Oregon Craft Beer Month

Wow, 200 beers! I’m a teensy bit more than 1/5th of the way done. That’s 20.02002% complete for the more decimal-oriented folks in the audience. Not bad!

I thought of pulling something “special” from the archive to commemorate the milestone, but this month’s goal of trying 31 different Oregon breweries has limited my selection due to poor planning. I’ve got a basement full of Hair of the Dog and Pelican special releases, as well as Deschutes and Full Sail, with a smattering of Bridgeport special releases. But, I’ve already sampled beers from those breweries this month, ruling them out.

Still, this is an appropriate choice. I’m not sure if it’s the warm weather or a tired palate, but I’ve been gravitating to lighter beers lately, and this was a great choice from a brewery who, outside this project, I’ve mainly sampled IPA from. I’m branching out, finding new favorites, and that’s a good thing.

33 Cheers!
