Is this supposed to be a British-style IPA? It has some of the toastiness I expect in those examples, and is seriously missing the big hop flavors I expect in a Northwest IPA. With its ham-handed, double-entendre title, I was expecting an equally brash beer, with a sticky, resiny quality, but it perhaps should have taken a slightly more gentlemanly name to better match the bottle’s reserved contents. Here are a few ideas I came up with – add yours in the comments.
- Ample Bosom IPA
- Pleasant Mountains IPA
- Dueling Peaks IPA
